A5 Colour postcard featuring Hollowshore in Faversham (Kent) hand-drawn in pen and ink.

All my postcards have been designed as a take-home version of my favourite drawings, which feature landscapes connected to the Thames Estuary in Kent (UK).

    Pen & Ink Drawing (#44)
This is a pen-and-ink illustration from Hollowshore. It looks out towards Whistable from a boatyard at the tip of Oare and Faversham Creeks.

Historically, Hollowshore thrived as a hub for boat building and repair. Skilled shipwrights harnessed the creek's calm waters and abundant timber to craft vessels of various sizes. This tradition fostered a vibrant community of artisans and sailors whose influence lingers in the area's character.

Nestled on the serene Oare Creek in Faversham, Kent, Hollowshore boasts a rich maritime legacy. Its name, "Hollowshore," hints at its unique landscape: a sheltered inlet carved into the shoreline, creating a natural harbor.
