Art postcard based on my original pen and ink drawing of Herne Bay Pier, Kent (2020). I have designed the postcards as a take-home version of my favourite pictures.
Each A5 postcard features the original drawing resized and features the location, sketch number and year I drew it on the front. I have cleaned up and removed the fold from my 2020 sketchbook to give you the best possible view of the original pen and ink drawing.
The back of the postcard includes the original Instagram post caption, which describes the inspiration for each artwork.
A5 Postcard - Herne Bay Pier (#27)
Drawing number #27 is from my first sketchbook (2020) and is a pen and ink sketch of Herne Bay Pier in Kent with a storm brewing out at sea. This sketch is one of my first drawings to feature the moving skies line work to create a sense of movement within a still image.

Quality
Each giclee art print features the original drawing, which has undergone a meticulous process to capture the detail with the utmost accuracy paying close attention to the texture, details and ink work. After lots of research and sampling various printing methods I have decided on Giclée prints using high quality archival substrates (paper).
