This stunning art print is based on my original A3 black and white ink drawing, which I completed in 2022. It is available in two color options (black and white or colour) and three sizes (A1, A2, and A3).

My original drawing was completed in around 110 hours. It incorporates my house style and sense of humor, with a subtle message.

The artwork features the Old Neptune public house (pub) from the Whitstable coastline in Kent, the UK. In the foreground, a traditional deep-sea diver is pulling a plug from the seabed across the shingle beach. Whitstable has a strong heritage with the invention of deep-sea diving suits. In the background, the mythical sea god Neptune is bursting from the sea and breaking through the clouds, carried by his white horses that are crashing as waves.

    n/a

After extensive research and testing, I have selected the Hahnemuhle German Etching (310gsm) Fine Paper. A heavy-duty paper with a textured finish, a velvety matt surface, and a warm white hue — I believe it reproduces my drawings superbly.

Each giclee art print features the original drawing, which has undergone a meticulous process to capture the detail with the utmost accuracy paying close attention to the texture, details and ink work.

I have personally remastered each drawing digitally to remove the fold from my 2020 sketchbook to give you the best possible view of the original pen and ink drawing.

My original notebook (#1) was cartridge paper in portrait format resulting in the square format. Each page from this notebook had an array of faint grey dots removed carefully from the art print for a better view of the original drawing.
